What
Fat Boab Remember:
A
little late, but what with recovery time from the FBPECS rally,
and work shite, it takes time to recall everything!
F3 this year is having a poor rally season, and the original plan
for us all to turn out for the P in the Park went down the shitter!
This year only four of F3 made it to the rally, despite the healthy
growth in members. (Though Chris made it down complete with Jeep,
Caravan, stall missus and the kids about 07:00 on Saturday morning)
However, that disnae really matter.
Fat Boab, the Snake and
Mitch load up on two bikes with all the shite we would need for
the weekend and headed off for sunny Lesmahago!
A thankfully uneventful run down (apart from a close call with one – AHEM – “Safety
Camera Van”, The Snake chasing down a TVR, the Tayside traffic
dodgems – which to be fair was the fun bit of the trip, and
one wee blast to clear out the cobwebs), meant we made it down to
the annual Talisman piss up! Usual arrival routine, park bikes, have
beer, pitch tents, have beer, wonder to the truck stop and have to
make another difficult decision… Food or Beer? Beer won (no
surprise there really), and let silliness commence!

A quick wonder round the bar found Trouble (stalwart of Bikers1
forums) in fine fettle and the usual catchup. Node and Chirstine
(S&S),
Scooby & Walter (Gobshytes), Wee John (S&S), The boss man
Al (Talisman), My2ono (Bev), etc, all getting into the party spirit.
And trying our best to out do each other with dumb ideas. For the
Friday night, it was generally agreed that the F3 / Bikers1 massive
won hands down with Nodge’s slightly wobbly appearance; S-W-A-Y!
(Sorry Nodge but that wiz funny, in fact it was fanny all weekend!)
Though I think the Nodge is due Alan a camera lens for puttin’ a
crack in it! You had to be there!

Apparently there was bands on during Friday evening, but I couldnae
swear to it as we sat and got bladdered out on “the porch”!
Late in the evening, Watty fired up the Cavern Rock disco and a good
time was had by all! F3 do have to congratulate one member of Talisman
for really dumb ideas, and to save blushes we won’t mention
names, but for those in the know remember the words – “two
hundred quid on a six!!!!” I havenae laughed so much for
years!!!
Saturday came as they usually do, and breakfast consisted of sipping
coffee and contemplating solid food.
Solid food lost out and after
a therapeutic beer or two, we all felt much better. We had seen
something written down about a Bouncy Castle, so further investigation
resulted
in watching Sharon (The boss or so she says) playing on the bouncy
castlehere,
and Marty and someone else (sorry mate didn’t get
your name) playing pillow fights on a bouncy castle here.
Suffice to say, it
wasn’t too long before F3 had a go… there are piccies
somewhere of snake and mitch trying their best (and failing miserably)
to impressive the girlies – at least Sharon thought it was
funny watchin’ the pair of them trying to get on to pole
in the first place.

Solid food and a safety sleep later saw us all back at the hall.
Fat Boab being late missed the start of a night long silly buggers
game. It started with Kim mentioning that Wee John had a smelly
arse, the application of a Magic Tree, then chaos that included
Mitch and
Wee John trying to be the bigger kid (I think Mitch won, but it
was a close run thing). Wedgies, ripped underwear (which was added
to
the Raffle – It was Mitch’s underwear and low and behold
first ticket outta the bag was his!!!), Tuk biscuits to the face,
more wedgies, etc.
Saturdays Band was Bons Ballz, superb AC/DC cover band mainly doin’ Bon
Scott covers. This suited me down to the ground and I simply soaked
up the music whilst sipping beer.
I was disappointed that more of the club couldn’t be there
this year, but lots of things to sort. A hearty thanks to all from
Talisman, all our friends (new and old) for making this a party
to remember once again. With any luck, The Snake will remember
more
and should be able to drop a few words to pad this out.
Big up to Draco from Holland!
See ya all next year. Now I need to go and exercise ma liver for
the Caramel Starfish!
